Please note: A safe joint replacement procedure abroad typically requires a minimum of 3 full weeks stay in your medical tourism destination country.

Typical Joint Replacement Itinerary while in your health tourism destination:

• Day 1:  Arrival and hotel check-in and/or hospital admission
• Day 2:  Pre-op consultation with orthopedic surgeon (includes blood testing and review of scans)
• Day 3:  Check into hospital – receive surgery
• Day 4:  One full day recovery in ICU
• Day 5:  6 to 8 days recovery in a private room in the international ward
• Day 11:  Hospital release and hotel check-in
• Days 11-20:  Recuperation in a 4-5 star hotel, physical therapy, multiple follow-up visits with surgeon.
